Festningen

Festningen is a brasserie, located in Oslo’s Akershus Fortress — a medieval castle and former prison, that serves a rustic French Menu. Design agency Uniform recently developed a brand identity for the restaurant that mixes traditional illustrative details, a copper foil print finish and fabric texture set alongside a heavy sans-serif, a simple geometric pattern and light ink across dark substrates to create what the agency described as a combination of historical and contemporary guidelines.
